Jeremy Wheeler is a multi-faceted artist, specializing in dynamic graphic art in two and three dimensions. In his 10+ years working in the Southeast Michigan area, he has honed a unique poster style in the gigposter and modern film art world. Through his company Bang! Media, he’s made three appearances at various Flatstock poster conventions — including SXSW 2012/13 as well as last year’s Pitchfork Festival. Feature
Last summer saw the launch of Brainchild Festival, a celebration of communal creativity just outside of London. Curated by Marina Blake, this eclectic mash up of music, art, film and spoken word aims to recreate the originality behind today’s sometimes generic festival scene. February 21st saw the launch night for the second Brainchild festival, at the Bussey Building. With music, live art and inevitably, the same exciting atmosphere, this year’s festival is sure to be even more exciting.
