‘In Our Manor’ Exhibition

posted by Lo Parkin November 5, 2014

Launching this Friday (7th Nov) ‘In Our Manor’ is an exhibition curated by Sean Rennision Phillips taking place at Ten Grand Arcade Hasler Gallery (N12) Bringing together a variety of creatives from Finchley and the surrounding area who are young, current and cutting edge, the exhibition will showcase work across a wide variety of mediums from painting, performance art and photography to light-reactive cut outs, and hand-painted typography. Reflecting on the show Currator Sean explains… “The idea of the exhibit is to introduce local people and businesses to the artists, with the aim of getting actively involved in projects and work that has a positive impact on the community. As curator, I hope that the show is a starting point for the coming together of Community, Commerce, Local Creatives and Schools to organize mural and regeneration projects throughout the borough. I also hope that the exhibition attracts more people to the space at Ten Grand Arcade and encourages other artists and businesses to take advantage of the amazing opportunities available to them.”

Exhibiting artists include;

Dan Rivron – Photographic documentation of the youth “Out There” sub-culture.
John Costi – Critically acclaimed fine artist and reformed character performing a custom piece about growing up in the local area
