Pick Me Up returns to Somerset House for its seventh year and for this year, London-based design agency Hato is inviting everyone to use their digital tool to create a letter which will be used in Pick Me Up 2016’s visual identity, from publications and signage around Somerset House to giant icons and patterns. This year’s Pick Me Up is part of Utopia 2016: A Year of Imagination and Possibility and Studio Hato has responded the theme by enlisting the public in a utopian vision of its own: a collaborative alphabet made by and for you.
With chic stripes or marshmallow-like curves, slick symmetry or abstract wobbles, the final collaborative alphabet will be as diverse as Pick Me Up’s huge creative community. Enough said.
