Short Lived by Craig Redman

Australian born artist and illustrator Craig Redman is now exhibiting his latest work in his solo show ‘Short Lived’ at Lamington Drive in his home country. Widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of the decade, one half of studio Craig & Carl Redman has produced a collection of artworks with an aim to probe everyday gestures and expressions as well as to examine ordinary moments.

The characters in the paintings confront the viewer head on, and yet, despite their brilliant binary colour combinations and candour, Redman also tries to maintain a sense of disconnection in his new paintings. The exhibition runs until 27 June 2015. It’s definitely something you don’t want to miss!
