The one and only two-month long annual typography festival, Typomad, has returned to Madrid with the theme ‘Testimonies: What’s Behind Typeface Design’. Four venues, two days of conferences, three exhibitions, four workshops, three type safaris, Typomad is now back to celebrate contemporary type design and support the design scene as well as to expand creative space for professionals, students, and design enthusiasts.
The highlight of Typomad is a two-day series of conferences happening at Centro Cultural Conde Duque on 4th-5th December 2015. This is where they bring together a fine selection of top industry people to discuss the relationships between design, culture, and society and celebrate type design and the people who work with type. The event is organised by a non-profit association, Chulotype, who continually works to promote typographic culture through the Internet and on-line publication.
