posted by Hannah Dawson February 20, 2014

The It’s Nice That team have been kind enough to send us the latest issue of their Printed Pages quarterly magazine which is packed with fresh imagery and content including interviews, discussion and debates on art, design and all forms of creativity over 76 pages. This winter issue is dynamic in bringing a sense of blue skies to the winter months.

The front cover consists of an illustration from Antipodean artist Jonathan Zawada with exciting editorial from cover to cover. This particular issue contains an interview with Ralph Rugoff, (director of the Hayward Gallery), who makes some interesting comments on commercial and public galleries, interaction with art and what it is that his team at the Hayward Gallery looks for. Another interview with Emily King discusses her relationship with design along with Joe Sacco, Jaimie Warren and Douglas Coupland who showcase and talk about their work, careers and experience in relation to design.

With a variety of features to break up the interviews a range of areas are explored including a visual mix tape from Edward Monaghan who creates recognisable objects and creatures through simple lines and shapes and injecting intelligent humour. A behind the scenes look at The Renoir art-house cinema and the Scandinavian product designs original approach to design and its more recently innovative ways of satisfying the consumer, plus lots more!

Printed Pages is available for £4 from the It’s Nice That Company of Parrots shop, follow the link to get your hands on a copy.
