A Friend Of Mine

posted by George Wheeler February 3, 2014

‘A Friend Of Mine’ are a design studio based in Melbourne with an impressive portfolio of creative branding concepts. Simple visual themes run through every project whether it is a perfectly balanced colour palette or set of typographic rules. This is what makes great branding and Suzy Tuxen (afom founder) is well aware. Flower shop identity, ‘The Modern Flower company’ works on a visible typographic grid based on a garden trellis. This 45˚ angle italicises any type set on it, almost transforming letters into weaving organic vines. Combined with a striking colour palette of green, white and a rose petal pink, this brand communicates a modern, urban and friendly flower shop perfectly.
