Janine Rewell is a Helsinki-based illustrator and graphic designer. Inspired by the geometry of nature, decorative details and intense colors, Janine’s designs are an enchanting mix of Scandinavian design and Slavic folk art. Janine Rewell and shoe designer Minna Parikka teamed? up this year for an exciting spectacle combining the world of body painting and illustration. Her geometric ?patters and attention to detail play work surprising well on the curves of the female body. The photo series creates a surreal moment where the models appear to climb out of the picture into the physical world.

Janine works across editorial illustration, murals, window instillations and designs for ceramics, making her a full rounded designer with a clear visual edge.
