Pick Me Up :: Hvass & Hannibal

On Friday I attended The annual ‘Pick Me Up’ illustration show at Somerset House. As usual it was packed with talent and thriving with people checking out this years work. I have put together some features of personal highlights of the show. This post covers the work of Hvass & Hannibal.

Represented by Outline Artists at Pick Me Up this year, Hvass & Hannibal are a Danish illustration/Graphic Design duo. Taking over a whole chimney breast with large illustrated banana leaves, the jungle themed work on display at Somerset House was a great introduction to the duo. The prints of Clogs’ album artwork framed showed busy scenes rich in colour with creatures a plenty. I would have loved to see this theme take over a whole room. Full of illustrated textures and spot on graphic design, Hvass & Hannibal’s online portfolio contains a great variety of projects.
