Across the globe, 2016 was a year of immense change and transition. In addition, it also sadly saw the loss of many great musical legends. Known as “The man who sold the word” the death of David Bowie was a shock to the nation. However his legacy lives on through his music, his fans and the art industry and he heavily influenced. As a tribute to this beloved idol, Kevin Cummins has created a special edition box set featuring 28 classic images of David Bowie, reproduced as a collection of postcards and presented in hand finished box.

Cummins first photographed Bowie as the star’s alter ego, Ziggy Stardust on his Aladdin sane tour of 1972-1973 and went on to photograph and be influenced by him throughout his career. The photographs include rarer glimpses of Bowie resulting in a more personal relationship between the photographer and his subject.
Known for his photography of British music Kevin Cummins work began with the documentation of the punk era that was huge in his home city of Manchester. Since then his career as a photographer has become legendary in the music world, his work gracing many record sleeves, magazines, and exhibited at galleries around the world.
