Clelia Colantonio

After earning a degree in Fashion from Milan, an Italian artist, Clelia Colantonio, enrolled herself as a BA student at Central Saint Martins and has achieved another degree in graphic design, focusing mainly on illustration. Her work always tells stories, the tales which are often inspired by her favourite novels or heartfelt family memoirs.

She uses photographs in most of her work, combines them with abstract, almost surreal, elements, enough ingredients to create a meaningful range of artwork. By working, her deep emotion is expressed, and her true passion is transformed into a fascinating mix of drawings, illustrations, collages and mixed media.
