The latest exhibition at renowned bar and exhibition space DreamBags JaguarShoes is a personal project by Dominic Marley, an acclaimed freelance photographer based in London. The project is titled ‘Flight’ and is the result of him having spent the past three years working with The Eagle Heights in Kent, which is a wildlife foundation and source of his recent subjects.
This photography collection features an array of birds of prey, individually captured in a human-like portraiture style. Dominic generally specialises in sport and fashion portraiture with his previous clients including the likes of New Balance, Puma, Nike, Clarks, 20th Century Fox, KSwiss, Reebok, Coca Cola, Red Bull, Vans. His photographic background has resulted in a unique approach to the photography of these birds, giving them a human quality in a studio environment.
‘I like to give subjects room to breathe and keep everything in camera and very natural. So the final images are simply just an appreciation of how amazing and fascinating these animals are.’
The exhibition launched on Thursday 29th October and is running until 6th December 2015 at DreamBags JaguarShoes, 32-36 Kingsland Road, E2 8DA.
