Jenny Pennywood came to be in early 2008. Before that, San Francisco-based artist Jen Garrido had been working as a painter, working with oil, acrylic, watercolour on wood panels and paper. Jen created and named her alter art persona ‘Jenny Pennywood’ as an attempt to keep her fine art painting career and her illustrative/graphic design career separate. During the past 8 years, Jen has been developing a wide range of textiles products and has also branched out to do custom designs for clients across the globe.

Today, Jen has created a wide range of screen-printed napkins, tea towels, stationery, paper goods and textiles which are all available for purchase from her own online store and select shops across the US. She still paints occasionally. Her studio is a painting area and a screen-printing area with no wall division between. And maybe that explains why Jen never lacks inspiration.
