Sarah Schrauwen was born in Antwerp, Belgium in 1988. She studied Literature & Linguistics at the University of Antwerp and holds a Master degree in Computational Psycholinguistics. In 2011, she made the decision to get out of academics and moved to London to study Design for Visual Communication at LCC. Since then Sarah interned for onOffice magazine, Studio8 and Spin, and worked on a number of small freelance projects for Nike, SOAS and LCC.
She was editorial coordinator and design assistant at Unit Editions – the renowned publisher of books on graphic design – for two years. In August 2014 she moved back to her hometown Antwerp to start her own studio, working for publishers and other clients as an independent designer and editor.
