posted by Alice Harrison October 5, 2016

The stunning collaboration between Violaine et Jérémy, the illustration and graphic arts studio based in Paris, and Yann Kebbi, a French illustrator famed for his expressive style, results in the unique identity of Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord 16/17 season, beautifully channeling the erratic existence of the theatre while maintaining the playful aesthetic infused.

The project consists of the rework of Le Théatre des Bouffes du Nord’s identity, including font, posters and programs. Regarding typography, Violaine et Jérémy have specifically created title fonts, Dida (black) and Scali (ultra condensed), experimenting with design as specific letters have different glyphs, can be squeezed and play in harmony with the illustrations.
