Vancouver Art / Book Fair

posted by Mel Luff October 13, 2015

Fuelling Vancouver’s reputation as a ‘small but feisty mecca for art book publishing’ and an up-and-coming rival of creative centres like New York and Los Angeles, the Vancouver Art/Book Fair is set to return for its fourth year. Returning to the Vancouver Art Gallery from the 16th to the 18th October, the annual Art/Book Fair provides a platform for Vancouver’s arts-based publishing scene. This year the celebration of indie publishing will feature over 100 small scale and independent publishers, showcasing magazines, zines, books, printed ephemera and digital publications.

Founded by Tracy Stefanucci and presented by non-profit organisation Project Space, the fair features local, national and international artists and is expected to attract over 5000 visitors. The event has a diverse line-up of art, talks and performances – and is an absolute must for anyone passionate about publishing.
