MaryMe Jimmy Paul

posted by Lo Parkin November 6, 2012

Walking the fine line between Fashion and Fine Art, MaryMe Jimmy Paul was formed with the collaboration of Designers Jimmy Paul Rinsum and Marie Burlot. Taking inspiration from stories, pop culture, the world and people the eccentric brand aims to invoke a feeling through the sculptural works in their garments.

The extreme shapes and materials used in their “Europe” collection aims to create “Teenage horror movie aesthetics” with the application of geometric patterns and clashing colours in their textiles relating to teenagers rebelling with out a purpose. Something they feel relates to Europe as it “politically and economically behaves like a child in his teens and needs to develop.”
