Human After All :: Face Stamp!

posted by Marcroy April 23, 2013

Human After All is a team of curious and creative minds who make work with heart which was founded by The Church of London directors Paul Willoughby, Rob Longworth, Alex Capes and Danny Miller. Face Stamp! is their first Pick Me Up installation in 2013 which will run at Somerset House from 18th-28th April.

Face Stamp! is an interactive stamp exhibition which allows all ages to create their own unique artworks and T-shirts. The elements to the faces (eyes, nose mouth and glasses etc) are designed by eight leading illustrators:

Siggi Eggertsson
Born in Iceland, now based in Berlin, this enigmatic illustrator grew up drawing, painting and building stuff.

Malika Favre
French-born, London-based illustrator who expertly blends minimal lines and colours to convey her (often quite naughty) ideas.

Emily Forgot
The odd. The everyday. The surreal. They’re all part of the wondrous palette of this London-based graphic artist.

Adrian Johnson
Sussex-based illustrator who breathes life and Liverpudlian humour into his highly crafted work.

Jean Jullien
Sharp humour and social analysis swish with every brushstroke of this playful French graphic artist.

Craig & Karl
Australians by birth, NYC-based Craig and London-based Karl conjure a unique visual language that’s bold, vibrant and – if you look closely – secretly optimistic.

Hattie Stewart
Cheeky London-based doodler who mixes wild colours with clashing patterns in her own slightly sinister way.

Supermundane
In the hands of this graphic artist, line and colour transform into a world of intermingling shapes that glow with optimism.
