Offprint London 2015

One of our favourite things to do is to help you plan your next day out and without sounding too excited, this year’s Offprint is going to be utterly inspiring. Offprint Projects is a traveling art publishing fair with a focus on contemporary art and design, photography, experimental music, poetry, and philosophy. From 22 to 25 May, The Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern will be transformed into a platform for an exploration of the alliance between printed strategies and digital cultures within the creative world.

It’s true that there has been such a boom in art/design book fairs around the globe. But what makes Offprint Projects different from the others is the fact that the event itself offers an autonomous space for contemporary artists/designers to engage with their audience through a programme of workshops, events, talks, and debate. And with a showcase of concrete examples of the dissemination of artistic practices, Offprint Projects is definitely an essential channel to help art publishers maintain their independence and promote their works.
