Augustine & Bridgland

Following their inaugural exhibition in spring last year, Royal College of Art graduates Danny Augustine and Adam Bridgland have continued to explore into the themes of lust and love and created an extensive range of colourful artworks now on display in the exhibition, ‘Behind The Curtains and Blinds’, at a contemporary screen print studio and art space, Jealous Gallery.

Royal College of Art graduates Danny Augustine and Adam Bridgland’s impressionism-influenced prints treat us to a feast of pastel colours, abstraction, and painterly style. This time, they use bold colours and strokes that are cheerful and vibrant to create a series of mono prints and the new screen print edition as well as a vast collection of colourful artworks to be featured including unique originals on wood, ceramic tiles and painted pots.

By painting directly onto the screen mesh, there is only one original for each design produced. They have also created a textiles range exclusively for Heal’s London.

‘Behind The Curtains and Blinds’ at Jealous East is open now and runs until the 5th April. The show will then tour to the Jealous North in Crouch End from the 8th April to the 10th May.
