James Ward is a London-based designer, better known as Jimbobart and he creates a range of hand-drawn ceramics and illustrations inhabited by his beautifully expressive animal drawings. Jimbobart creates illustrations which comically bring woodland animals and settings together with urban sensibilities giving the animals new life and purpose.

Jimbobart works from his studio and shop on Cheshire St in East London, his products and artwork are available to purchase from his own shop as well as stores in the UK and Internationally, including London’s Liberty and Southbank Centre Shop and Franck et Fils in Paris. As a commercial illustrator, he has been commissioned by Lacoste, Moleskine and Etsy – who invited him to illustrate a bath tub displayed alongside his designs as part of the UK’s leading independent design festival, Clerkenwell Design Week. To date, Jimbobart has featured in National newspapers and magazines including the Guardian, The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and Country Living, as well as numerous design magazines.

Go and check out his shop at 24 Cheshire St (just off Brick Lane) E2 6EH London, to submerge yourself into the hand crafted world of these urban woodland creatures, we think it is well worth a visit!
