Matthew Fleming is a 22 year-old student and photographer currently operating in Lancaster. We met at university and now the product of Matthew’s incessant photographing has come to fruition.

It’ll come to no surprise to learn that Lancaster isn’t the most exiting city to study in but Matthew’s photography breathes fresh life into the city and people’s experiences of the city. The LA1 project exists as a stream of consciousness. The images flow from one to another, a day in the life of the city. From the infamous buskers to the corners of parties, Matthew’s photography is something to behold even if you’re not from that city or university. For me, it’s a relic from my time as a student.
