Tom Deason

Tom Deason is an illustrator and designer from London who finished the illustration course at UWE in Bristol. Although being very much into screenprinting, these are his first risoprints. It seems as if he’s got a knack for it and we’re looking forward to seeing many more.

This project is called ‘Posthuman’. It’s a 4 part narrative series of illustrations inspired by the parallel digital human existence. A comment on the information age, how people are in some form or another are digital data. Immersing himself in texts on technological singularity and posthumanism meant that Tom’s work is focused on the rapidly more ubiquitous relationship between technology and human experience.

The results are absolutely stunning.
