One man Brooklyn studio, Dan Blackman produces work, in print and branding. Previous projects include illustrative work as well as identities for bars and restaurants. Great identity for Punch House in Chicago plays on the fact the bar is in the basement of the ‘punch house’. Logo illustrates this with a simple house diagram while the rest of the bar’s identity continues this minimal look. Blackman’s promotional posters for DelVal College are also a favourite. Incorporating type into scientific botanical illustrations giving them new life.
