XZXZ STUDIO

posted by POP Members March 6, 2020

Born in a small town in the middle of the Cantal Mountains, France, XZXZ Studio is a micro-enterprise managed by Pierre Delpic. Pierre is a printmaker and graphic designer whose days are devoted to the screen printing of posters, tote bags and t-shirts. Influenced by the colours and typography of the 1960’s, Pierre’s prints often reflect different personalities of the period, such as Bowie, The Beatles and Twiggy.

A recent addition to Pierre’s repertoire is Artopia; a place of creation where various artists will meet in connection with the 10th Art Street Festival which takes place in the Cantal Mountains. The ‘little pig’ motif of XZXZ Studio will fly its wings at Artopia, as Pierre will be running a series of screen printing and graphic art workshops. Here, one can find XZXZ Studio’s carousel for textile printing where he will be on hand to assist and inspire budding printmakers.

Everything is created by hand with time and love by the artist, and alongside the screen printing and editioning services the studio offers, XZXZ Studio are also open to commissions for graphic identity and large scale mural work.
