Baptiste Virot has emerged as one of the great, idiosyncratic talents to hit the burgeoning art scene this decade. Besides quirky illustrations and hand-drawn graphic novels full of character and imagination, this French-born artist also works in the realm of printmaking, producing each multi-layered inky screen print with painstaking attention to detail.

Virot’s bold style depicts frantic, distinctive characters in surreal environments. His latest work includes ‘Walking Gag’, a comic strip published by 3 Fois Par Jour earlier last month. The publication is now shelved in select bookshops across French regions and is also available for purchase via Amazon.
