Carolina Salinas describes herself as a creative craftswoman who specialises in wood block printing. Her illustrations show mythical creatures, animals and Aztec patterns with several references to ‘Day of the Dead’ skull imagery. She uses the traditional woodblock printing technique to make modern and contemporary imagery. Her beautiful products include stickers, printed scarves and fabric covered sketchbooks.

Utilising the potential of overlays in print, she hides skulls behind faces so you see the two images subtly covering one and other, whilst also making a mesmerising print. Her carefully crafted handmade products are a thing of true passion and something we definitely admire.
