Douglas Hale’s witty collages play with slices of found imagery, colour and symbolism. With both tribal and mythological references, Hale uses contemporary graphic styles to produce fantasy landscapes and unusual profiles. Mirrored objects and contrasting tones become imaginative scenes and beautifully strange scenarios.
