Charm and playful personality are two elements undoubtedly implemented within Jode Pankhurst’s stunning porcelain creations. Based in Edinburgh, the freelance designer is currently supported by the Craft Council & Craft Scotland as part of their Hot House 2016 programme.

Jode Pankhurst showcases her undeniable talent in both design and making, in turn resulting in the honest creations, reminiscent of collector’s items due to their balance of beauty and quality. The hand crafted designs range from alphabet mugs and gingham milk jugs to the famed adorable faced pots, which as seen below, can sport an enviable hairstyle when paired with a cactus.

An impressive range of quirky jewellery continues the implementing of the tactical aesthetic in which Pankhurst exquisitely entertains. The metallic accent as seen on the crafts is referenced through the gold effect wire in which the porcelain beads drape from, decorated through either a pink or mint glaze at one end and a hand printed pattern at the other.
