Louis Reith

The work of Louis Reith is going to be displayed at & Pens Press, a publishing house in Los Angeles, tomorrow. Born in Hengelo, NL, artist and graphic designer Louis Reith now resides and works in Amsterdam. He is heavily influenced by electronic music and used to play in several bands when he was a teenager. From his monochrome collages to his sculptures, the work of Reith is, no doubt, a capsule that brings back your childhood memories and at the same time takes you to fanciful dreamscapes where realism doesn’t exist.

Louis Reith is also an expert in riso-printing, ink drawing, acrylic painting, sculpturing and publishing. He now owns a publishing company, Jordskred, meaning landslide in Swedish, which was set up in 2012 with an aim to publish independent art zines, prints and original music.
