Lydia White

I have fallen in love with Lydia White’s stunning photographs. Lydia works as a Photographer/Designer based in New York, her website is full of extraordinary imagery that take us to dramatic natural and fantasy landscapes. My favourite bits of her work include her “Earth Vents” and “Environs” projects; “Earth Vents” demonstrates a beautiful collection of images studying volcanoes and geothermal features (like hot springs ect) “Environs” shares an “experiment in manufacturing surreal environments exploring ideas of Geology and deep time” using found objects, architectural model supplies and natural materials to create miniature imagined landscapes of Earth, Science Fiction and dreams.
