Originally from South Africa, Marlene Steyn is currently undertaking an MA in painting at the Royal College of Art. Arranged in layers, the Artist’s mixed-media pieces depict patchwork faces fantasy worlds and conflicts through the experimental composition and narrative of her grotesque but beautiful characters and environments.
