Mr Penfold :: Masquerades and Silhouettes at No Walls Gallery

The first exhibition of 2015 at No Walls Gallery is devoted to Bristol-based artist and designer Mr Penfold. Inspired by a wide range of different influences, from skateboard graphics to classical and formal abstraction, this latest exhibition, appropriately named ‘Masquerades and Silhouettes’, triumphantly demonstrates Mr Penfold’s quest to emulate the iconic pop culture and to produce clean, crisp graphic paintings – a great opportunity for you to focus more on the abstract side of Mr Penfold’s artistic practice.

Whether it’s mixed-media installation, painting, print, or drawing, Mr Penfold’s favourtie medium is what he is working on at the time. And for this riveting collection of paintings, you can expect to see the interesting contrast between colour, texture and line work. The opening night is this evening from 6 to 9pm at No Walls Gallery. And the show will run until 22nd February 2015.
