Solo artist

ROID

London based Artist ROID began painting in the late 90’s gaining a hyped reputation for innovation and technical skill.
After debuting his first (sell out) solo show in the summer of 2012 titled “More then Ever” ROID entered the world of Fine Art and is currently working as an Artist and Creative Director in his South London Studio. Taking influence from music, manga, 80’s 90’s nostalgia and type ROID composes elements of geometry texture and movement to showcase his immense talent with letterforms. The precision and attention to detail in his hand-painted works are SO precise they look digital, which can challenge how we look at Graffiti, reflecting on this ROID states “I don’t like working on computers but I like the mathematics and precision, you need to create that kind of aesthetic by hand.”
