Upright Press is a small print shop located in Columbus, Ohio. Their approach mixes an artistic edge with production consistency, and they pride themselves on getting things right.
While the bulk of their work involves screen printing on shirts and posters, they can print anything they can get flat! Everyone working at Upright Press has a degree in Art, and they deal more with artists and designers than large companies.
Almost 8 years into their journey as studio, they want to continue to stay small to offer a personal experience for their clients. Upright Press is home to a collection of automatic presses; A 6 colour auto shirt press and two clamshell poster presses (because of the accuracy and consistency the allow). They also have manual presses as well for smaller one-off projects. The team work with all sorts of ink – whatever is right for the substrate. “The ink is our drink.”
