Faye McNulty

Faye McNulty is a textile designer producing research and graphic development for print, jacquard and embroidery across luxury brands, womenswear and menswear. She works with James Bosley Studios, supporting and developing graphics for his roster of acclaimed clients. Faye has over 10 years professional experience working with a range of brands including Aitor Throup, MM6 Maison Margiela and Victoria Beckham.


Balancing both the creative and the technical aspects of textile design, her specialisms include dyes, silkscreen printing, fine hand painting/drawing and computer-aided design. Faye has worked with innovative design centres – including the London Printworks Trust and the Institute of Making – and has printed and consulted for internationally renowned artists and studios such as Yinka Shonibare, Sonia Boyce and The Unseen.


Faye has designed and taught courses for prestigious institutions in the UK and Europe to various ages and abilities. In 2015/16 she worked as facilitator on a border-crossing design project called Six Branch between Central Saint Martins’ textile students and Women in Hebron embroidery collective in Palestine. She also has extensive experience delivering talks, lectures and tutorials at Higher education level.


Additionally, Faye is also a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Travel Fellow. In 2017 she travelled to Japan and Australia to further research hand print techniques and sustainable print practices spending time with kimono craftsmen, indigo farmers dyers and sustainability specialist designers.
