Learn the basics of letterpress printing on The Aesthetic Union’s Vandercook press from 1962! During this 2-hour workshop, students will learn how to print with photopolymer plates on a hand-cranked press. They’ll walk you through all the fundamentals of the pressroom, including how to use printing plates, how to operate and clean the press, and how to order your own paper and photopolymer plates for when you’re printing solo.

No prerequisites needed. No prior printing experience required. Beginners are encouraged to sign-up! After this workshop, you’ll be able to schedule press time during working hours for only $25/hour (ink included).
