Event :: V&A Friday Late : Shoreditch Takeover

posted by Emma Fisher July 21, 2014

Thinking already about what to do this weekend? Why not try the V&A’s Friday Late. For the first time the events are also going to be extended to the Saturday and take place at BL-NK space in Shoreditch. In this months line-up, the creative hub of east London has inspired the Shoreditch Takeover. The night at the V&A will include instillations from well known street artist Malarky, too new technology to fantasise over from Designswarm. Events and workshops will follow in Shoreditch on Saturday 26th, don’t miss it!

For those who aren’t familiar, since 1999 the V&A have been running Friday Late to encourage interaction between new artists and designers with the public. They aim to ‘inspire and provoke’ whilst curating a series of events that give artist a platform to show their work and the public a chance to interact with the Museums collection in a new way. As we have experienced in the past the night can get really busy so to be sure to make the most of it get there early. Equally with Saturdays events they will be running on a first come, first served basis. Enjoy.
