Santtu Mustonen

Santtu Mustonen is a Finnish Illustrator living and working in Helsinki and Amsterdam. His work is inspired by organic patterns, natural science, 3D design and moving image. He aspires to broaden the field of illustration using innovate design techniques, combining handcrafted and analog textures in a digital space.

Represented by the famous Hugo & Marie studio in the United States, he is a unique talent. He uses 3D modeling programs to create motion in his imagery, often giving his 2D imagery a tactile feel too. His work spans clothing patterns, digital projections and animations; I can’t wait to see where his work expands to next.
