We featured this illustration prodigy Thomas Danthony in April last year, and now this time, it is his method used to create this recent set of illustrations, commissioned by Medium, that fascinates us.
A few months ago, this London-based illustrator and designer Thomas Danthony was commissioned by Medium to create a series of promo illustrations for their recently developed website. This commissioned project not only challenged Danthony to create artworks for their new website, which features a responsive layout that adapts the content depending on the size of the screen, but also excited him to come up with the right metaphor to deliver the message for each illustrated piece.
He started off in black and white then picked the colours to suit the subject for each illustration without repeating the colour palette. It is interesting to see how he managed to maintain consistency throughout the series. And we just can’t wait to see what’s next!
