Anagrama are an international graphic design and branding agency based in Mexico, working for a variety of clients across the globe to develop brands, objects, spaces, software and multimedia projects. They provide services which cover the spectrum of branding from strategic brand consulting, to visual identity, logotype, naming, peripherals, captivating packaging and illustration design with focused digital and printed material demonstrating plenty of personality. Their latest project ‘Amado’ by Hyatt has a vivid colour palette with a range of novel printing finishes which caught my eye.
A Mexican artisan bakery and candy boutique based in a hotel lobby, characterised by its flavours, colours and textures, Anagrama has developed the branding identity for Amado by Hyatt, striving to bring together both the romantic and classic spirits of Amado Nervo’s poetry and the modernist style of Mexican architect Luis Barragán. With the intention to avoid falling into typical Mexican clichés, they have created a visual solution that takes the fine art of traditional artisan bakery to a new contrasting level of modernism with attention to detail, making sure this brand does not go unnoticed.
