For the third edition of Forward Festival, the organisers have worked closely with ZWUUP to oversee the Festival’s graphic identity: posters, website, video and promotional materials. Considered as one of the world’s most eminent design events, the annual Forward Festival – Festival for Creativity, Design and Communication is an interdisciplinary two-day festival held with an aim to provide a platform for designers to explore their journeys and push creativity amongst themselves.
To design a festival brand, whose programme includes conference, workshops, exhibitions, networking spaces, live art sessions, lectures and music, it is crucial to come up with a system that allows the identity to grow and speaks to its multicultural audiences. Inspired by Wiener Werkstätte Artist Monograms and Patterns (Josef Hoffmann & Kolo Moser), this year’s identity truly honours the heavyweight committee of 16 speakers who have been invited to share their success stories, inspiration and insights into their creative practice. Having served in fields of graphic design, art direction and film, it’s clear that ZWUUP have successfully created a groundbreaking brand identity system that stands out from common stuff.
