Typographic artist Kris Andrew Small has designed an immersive pop-up experience in partnership with Carnaby Street and their ‘Carnaby in Colour’ season. From 29th August until 27th September 2023, Kris is taking over the entire ground floor of number 57 Carnaby Street. For the installation, Kris has created a floor to ceiling wrap around design featuring bold typography in vivid celebration of colour, collaboration, and humanity.
During the pop-up, limited edition art prints and apparel will be available to buy and a curated series of workshops and events will be on offer. People of Print will be live screenprinting on Saturday 2nd and 23rd September, 12:00pm – 3:00pm. Grab your print pass here. The ticket includes a tote bag which will be screen printed live with a bespoke ‘BE HUMAN’ design in a neon colour way of your choice, as well as a free copy of Posterzine® Issue 88 by Kris Andrew Small.
Other events include Live LDN Painting by Kris, a panel discussion in partnership with GAY TIMES and a creative workshop from Annu Kilpeläinen.
