Mansi Shah

posted by Lo Parkin October 7, 2014

Featured previously (here) innovative Designer Mansi Shah is a NYC based studio that creates signature prints and products inspired by the alchemy of image making. Raised in India, Mansi grew to love the infinite possibility of pattern, and upon moving to America to study, she learnt to let her mind ‘dream and wander’ founding the studio in efforts to create designs that mix both utility and imagination. Having launched last month, Mansi’s first collection is driven by line, form, color, volume, texture and composition and is inspired by Cy Twombly’s scribbles, Josef Albers color theory and various visual music artists. Now available to buy online (here) the studios most recent offerings include 8 designs printed on silk habutai scarves and digital cases with more products in the pipeline including 6 panel caps, backpacks, minimal silk blouses and pocket squares.
