Osmos is a collaboration between L’Empressee, an art gallery specialising in prints and limited editions, and brewer, Ammonite – Simon Lecomte. Julie Garcia-Dodet, the gallery’s founder, and Simon wanted to collaborate and merge their worlds by creating a series of fine art prints with an accompanying limited edition beer collection.
Two French street artists were selected for the first edition; Russ and Wenc. The beers were designed according to their taste, and the prints were created in response to the artist’s feelings when tasting and after learning about Simon’s brewing method.
The stunning result is composed of three very special beers and prints: One beer for Wenc, one for Russ, and one blend of the two previous casks with specially-created labels, and one print design by Russ, one by Wenc, and a collaboration of their two worlds in another larger screen print.
The prints were created at the Typon Patate Studio in Dijon (Burgundy), and were released alongside the beers just before Christmas 2021.
