Comic Sans for Cancer

posted by Louie Zeegen August 21, 2014

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Comic Sans, the font we all love to hate, Chris Flack, Renee Quigley and Soapbox & Sons have curated an exhibition of posters inspired by Comic Sans with all of the proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.

Finally something positive to come from such a terrible, terrible font. All the results are diverse, intriguing but most of all for a good cause. From the 500 submissions, 200 are on display at The Proud Archivist, 2-10 Hertford Road, N1 5ET from August 20th-24th.

From 34 countries there’s a mixture of the internationally renowned designers and studios to new and emerging talent including Vincent Connare, Bibliothèque, Build, Purpose, Hort, The Partners, Kiosk, King Zog and MultiAdaptor.
