The London Illustration Fair 2019

posted by Robyn Pitts October 28, 2019

The London Illustration Fair is back with a fun packed festival of art, craft, creativity and visual culture. Bargehouse, OXO Tower Wharf plays host to the three-day illustration extravaganza with five floors of artwork, prints, workshops talks and more from some of the world’s top artists and designers.

The artist-led illustration, print and graphic design fair, brings artists and buyers together in a unique environment. The fair offers the chance for illustration lovers to come face to face with their favourite artists and discover amazing new artwork from emerging illustrators.

Rude designed the branding for this year’s event and will be the Featured Studio for LIF2019. They will be exhibiting a selection of their amazing posters, as well as hosting a poster-making workshop at their stand during the event. Rude will also be designing and creating a giant mural for the entrance space in their iconic colourful style.

Also participating in the event is Alice Tams; an illustrator obsessed by the colourful, the surreal and the anthropomorphic, and best known for her ongoing series Birds in Hats. Alice will be painting a large scale interactive mural live during this years event. You can get involved if you wish to be immortalised as a ‘pigeon in a hat’ by posting an image of yourself, in a hat, on Instagram tagging both @alicetams and @thelondonillustrationfair using #lifpigeon.

Tickets are available at £10 in advance or £12.50 on the door and children under 12 go free.

We’re very excited to also offer 20% off tickets for People of Print fans using the unique code POP20.
