In Perpetuum | TYPEONE Campaign Launch

posted by Robyn Pitts October 8, 2020

In Perpetuum (Latin for “for ever”) is the latest way to crowdfund, support and bring new, exciting independent publications to life. You can back new projects by pre-ordering the publication, or submit your own project to become a fundraising campaign. With years of experience in the field, and with many great partners and contacts, we are here to make the publishing world a better, fairer place for budding or established authors. We’re excited to launch with a collaboration with TYPE01; a type-focused media company that covers the world’s most exciting type-focused designers. The campaign will help bring to life their new, bi-annual, gloss magazine, TYPEONE.

TYPEONE fuses type with topics including business, technology, innovation, global issues, graphic design, 3D, animation and many more. Through creative explorations, their team and network of freelancers discuss global-led initiatives, projects, campaigns and the people behind them, spotlighting the next generation and featuring an inclusive scope of creative humans from all over the world. For their first issue, TYPE01 have also teamed up with Design Calendar to present a carefully curated selection of useful, engaging and up to date creative events and resources.

The money raised from the pre-order campaign will fund the writing and editing, alongside the design, production, printing and distribution of the book. The 140 page magazine will be litho printed by Pressision, and will also incorporate a special Pantone Spot colour. The First issue will be published in November 2020 with an RRP of £12.99, with annual subscriptions also available.

As part of this special campaign, there are a series of exclusive rewards for you to grab in addition to, or as part of your magazine pre-order. These rewards include a sticker pack printed by Grey Jam Press, and a limited edition Beauty Comes from Unexpected Places A5 print designed by type designer Emily Jing Sum Chang and beautifully foiled by FoilCo.
