Art director, publisher and graphic designer, Omar Sosa is an award winning creative with a keen eye for composition. Cofounder of the now highly popular Apartmento magazine, Omar Sosa is most frequently praised for his editorial work. However, It is Sosa’s collaboration with photographer Nacho Alegre that I draw your attention to today. Taking role of art director, Omar Sosa collects objects such as glasses, bread or rolls of tape and re-imagines them as beautiful compositions. This experimental still life photography forms a feature within Apartmento magazine. Check out a few examples of their work below. Personally my favourite is the glasses of coloured liquid. Perfectly light and precisely composed, you could easily fail to recognise these everyday objects.
