Sito Riso Open Call/Exhibition

Sito Riso Open Call/Exhibition is a project by Sito Studio, with the support of the National Culture Fund of Bulgaria. From February 23 to May 30 2023, Sito invited artists, painters, and illustrators to participate in a series of workshops on serigraphy and Riso printing. From over 200 candidates, including some international ones, they selected 30 individuals. Together, they printed a limited series of prints (30 pieces each) and zines (20 pieces each).

Sito are proud to share the outcomes of this project and showcase part of the exhibition, which aims to highlight the participants’ talent and the capabilities of these techniques. The exhibition took place on May 30 and was attended by more than 200 people – a significant success for a small country. The event was a joyous celebration, serving as a platform to promote the artists, the employed techniques, and the immense possibilities presented by the studio.

The studio are now eagerly anticipating their upcoming project, Street Art 2, where they will be printing works by internationally renowned street artists for a travelling exhibition.
